The room you need
| Check | Plan for | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Room depth for the launch monitor | 13.5 ft minimum · 15.5 ft comfortable | 1 ft screen gap + 8–10 ft ball to screen + 4.5 ft behind the ball for the backswing |
| Ceiling for a 5′10″ golfer (driver) | 9′ 2″ | Golfer height + driver arc + mat + margin |
Seller or manufacturer claimFootprint: 11’W × 15’D × 8.5’H; Retracted: Enclosure collapses against the wall — floor space fully reclaimed.
FOREference calculationDepth follows the launch monitor's placement: radar behind the ball needs ball flight plus the unit distance; camera and overhead units need the golfer, 8–10 ft to the screen and a gap behind it. Check your room.
